Artwork processing

From Card Specification to Approved Artwork

Vigor Smartech provides card manufacturing support for brands, distributors and overseas plastic card printing companies. The processes on this page can be combined according to the agreed material, artwork, finishing, personalization and packing requirements.

For artwork review, provide the intended dimensions, template, bleed and separate layers for white ink, foil, spot UV or other effects. Identify the front and back artwork and all variable fields. We confirm file preparation, proof and any physical sample requirements before production.

Send subcontract projects needing an additional process, RFID integration, alternative materials or manufacturing capacity. Confidentiality, packing and delivery instructions should be agreed at quotation stage.

Data Preparation for Card Personalization

Agree the file format, number structure, barcode type, magnetic stripe tracks or chip encoding for the chosen card. Define whether data will be supplied by you or generated according to an approved specification.

Review the production proof and sample data before bulk personalization. Test the result with the intended scanner, reader or POS system. Supply only the information required for manufacturing and agree the production-data handling requirements.

Production Questions

Can I outsource only part of a project? Describe the required stage and what you will supply so feasibility and responsibilities can be reviewed.

How are timing and cost confirmed? The quotation depends on quantity, construction, artwork, material availability, tooling, data and packing. Production starts under the agreed approval and order conditions; shipping is separate.
